We are starting our episode with Omaima Nelson. A bit of a 90 day fiancé/ Sugar Daddy situation, Omaima had a few tragic run ins with love until her last husband ended up dead. What happened to him you ask? Well we suggest you finish your turkey before listening to this episode.
Next, we head to the home state of our girls where we learn home sweet home doesn’t always ring true. Ever seen “A Haunting in Connecticut”, maybe you should.

Let’s start with Heaven’s Gate. This is the story of a boy who met a married girl, she left everything behind and the two began to spread the good word about being Jesus UFOs. Don’t miss all the high tech website design left from the 90s.
Then we will meet Keith Raniere who, in Sam’s opinion, took a horrible page out of L. Ron Hubbard’s books and not only started a vile MLM but also created a sex traffic win that could rival anyone out there.
We did create a bingo card for different cult identifiers but Sam isn’t smart enough to randomize it… So we will figure that out for Cults 3.0 :-) Thanks for playing!

EP 62 - Sibling Rivalries

EP 62
Sibling rivalries can be detrimental to a family in many ways.
We can’t say we exactly followed our own rules but we definitely delivered on some crazy sibling stories.
First we hear about two brothers who were a little too obsessed with murder and serial killers and aspired to becoming prolific murders who they made documentaries about. They semi succeeded in their goals but def didn’t check all of their boxes - thank goodness!
Then we moved on to a horrible tragedy that affected the Pollok family not once but twice. After a disastrous car accident took the life of the family’s two daughters and a family friend, less than a year later they were blessed with twin girls, but were the twins closer to the family than is normal? Let’s have a conversation about reincarnation!

EP 61 - What are People This Way?

This episode is a doozy! It seems that there were more interpretations to this topic than Sam and Jenn thought because they went in very different directions.
Let’s start with Mary Toft. She was 24 or 25 in 1726 and was pregnant with what was supposed to be her 4th child. Unfortunately, a few months later she miscarried her baby. Then a few months after that, even though she seemed to miscarry, she claims she went into labor. A neighbor goes to assist and instead of a baby Mary births parts of multiple animals! The long and short is that Mary births multiple rabbits, King George gets involved, and a few people feel really stupid in the end.
Then we have Chad and Lori Daybell. Chad seemed to have very specific beliefs when it came to religion - like the kind where he has a direct line to Jesus and is told when the end of days is going to be. He later meets Lori and magically the two of them can now speak to Jesus and they are also bestowed the power to see who is possessed by demons, they are also charged with saving 144,000 on doomsday.
So there is a lot going on today and we hope you enjoy it!

Ronald “Butch” Defeo killed his entire family in the early morning hours of November 13, 1974. He was then convicted and sentenced to six counts of 25 years to life.
After the house sat vacant for just about a year The Lutz family came in and purchased the house and seemed to have gotten more than they were prepared for.

We are “falling” for fall today. After a bit of soul searching we both decided that our cases were going to revolve around falling down. Go figure!
Well first we head to Sloss Furnace in Birmingham, AL. Wow what a history, the list of horrific list of accidents almost equals the amount of ghostly encounters! Get ready for a few shutters from multiple facts that Sam spills.
Jenn gives us a great 101 on the Michael Peterson case. Sam likes to get the Peterson’s confused so don’t you worry Jenn did an amazing job explaining EVERYTHING and Sam thinks she may have solved the owl confusion…. it was really Aliens!

Although death is usually a very sad event, today’s episode was inspired by that cute TikTok ditty from not to long ago “Dumb Ways to Die”
We are starting in Merry ole London, where, in 1814 an accident at Meux & Co's Horse Shoe Brewery caused a major flood  killing 8 people as a wave of beer flooded the streets! I mean what a way to go… almost as good as the girl getting clotheslined at the Whaley house running for freshly baked cookies!
Then we move to Jerome, AZ where although the ghosts may not have perished in a dumb way, one of our favorite paranormal investigators almost died in the most stupid way possible and it’s all caught on camera! So we are going to take a few minutes to mock that event mercilessly!

EP 57- Ultimate Spooky Season

We are so excited to be hosting our 2nd Halloween episode!
We start with you favorite and ours MOTHMAN!!! I think that’s is all we need to say about that :-)
Then we move back to our home state where we hear about the horrible murder of Martha Moxley, a beautiful bright spirited woman whose life was cut short for literally no reason. Unfortunately, after a conviction the murderer asshole appealed and was never retried. Jenn does another amazing job with a terrible story.

EP 56 - A Walk in the Cemetery

Are cemeteries for the living…or the dead?
Did you know that during the Victorian Era it was customary to have a Sunday lunch in the cemetery? Well these stories aren’t about a tranquil stroll on a Sunday but there is definitely a time to be had!
First we visit Union Cemetery in Easton, CT, it’s been 400 years and still a lady in white is regularly witnessed stalking the area. She also likes to cross the street in the middle of the night even when cars are oncoming… so that is fun!
Then we travel to Edinburgh, Scotland where we will tour the Greyfriars Kirkyard. Here we follow a ghost puppy, a poltergeist who is known for his bloody mentality even 350 years later!
Hold tight to your pearls because it seems the dead don’t always stay that way!

Ep 55 - Which Witch???

Keeping with the Spooky Season theme, we are covering some witchy cases, but which witch to choose??
You will be so surprised to know we didn’t hit up our favorite witch city for this one (we were too)!
Anyway let’s head to Montego Bay, Jamaica where Annie Palmer the White Witch of Rose Hall allegedly killed her husbands for their money, tortured her slaves for fun, and finally met her end when she went a little too far. Was Annie Witchy or Bitchy or both? YOU DECIDE!
Next we have a case where I’m not so sure the culprit was witchy or the investigators put too much thought into the prosecution tactics anyway Jenn was nice enough to include other options for you Blue Moon rituals, ones that don’t involve a claw hammer.
