We’re still in the Midwest.
So we hear about another unfortunate event in the Midwest, and although it didn’t end how we hoped it would. Was it murder or self defense? Either way Sarah Gonzales-McLinn took her life back and will be released in in the next few years
We haven’t left Villisca just yet because we have more to discuss about the tragedy of the Moore family murders. We get into the inquest and suspects and just for fun we’re going to discuss what currently is happening at the house that is open for tours, overnight ghost hunts, or just stay like a bed and breakfast!

EP 43 - ROADTRIP! MidWest

OK so being on the open road has been fun. We’ve stopped to pee about 5,000 times and needed snack refills more than that but we are having a blast!
Now we will be stopping in Villisca, IA where one of the most heinous crimes happed over 112 years ago. The Moore family was brutally axed to death while they slept and the case has never been solved. Now this murder case is so wild that Sam needs two parts to tell the whole story, don’t worry there will ghosts!
Next we will hear all about Grace Holland - this case is near and dear to our hearts and we definitely have a million thoughts and feels. A beautiful life taken too soon and we hope that justice is paid! Karma is a fickle bitch and she will be coming for you, you know who you are!!!

Ep 42 - ROADTRIP! South East

Next stop on the Road Trip is the South East!
First we’ll be seeing the beautiful city of Atlanta, GA where the not so beautiful case happened. In fact the Atlanta Child Murders claimed 28 victims and in our opinion was NEVER truly solved even though someone was put away for life. This case is twisted and icky but it’s something that needs to be talked about more!
Next we are stopping in Louisville, KY! Can you guess where? Well we can’t hold back, so get ready to explore Waverly Hills Sanatorium. Years of death and change have marred this land and building. There are plenty of spirits that run around the halls of this old hospital. Some have names, some have been seen by thousands of investigators, others hide around corners and grab your ankles. There is the entire gamut of supernatural at this sanitorium and we will discuss everything!

We know we have covered a lot of the North East already but wait till you hear what we have to tell you!
So a small reef in the Long Island Sound should be inconspicuous until you hear the name…. Executioner Rocks -BUT WAIT there’s more - it has a lighthouse!!! With a dark history, a serial thief/rapist/killer, and a lot of ghosts you get a little bit of EVERYTHING in this case!
Next we hit a cryptid or maybe a new race of inbred asylum escapees? We’ll learn more about these CT humanoids and where they live and how they live and what they eat… There is a lot to unpack when it comes to the Melon Heads and we are ready to get to the bottom of it.

So it’s World UFO DAY in July (not January like Sam said in the Episode)!!!!! We are so excited considering we really haven’t covered UFOs or Aliens much yet so this open a whole new vein of topics for us to report on!
Have you ever heard of the “Grinning Man”? Well he’s creepy and apparently when he comes around it means a UFO or aliens have been in the area. He’s not exactly the Men in Black and he doesn’t work alone either, but he’s out there with a cheshire smile and broad set eyes. If you see something not right in the sky maybe keep to yourself and leave the man on the corner alone… just a thought.
The Kelly - Hopkinsville Encounter has been described as a major battle for earth or a drunken fever dream. After you hear about the events that occurred on August 21, 1955 and the possible explanations let us know what you think really happened. It’s a tall tale either way… but it was definitely Aliens!

After making it to land he disappeared - search parties were relentless but Michael was never found. Although presumed drowned a new narrative has begun to unfold… you aren’t ready for this.
One of the most infamous asylums in the United States, known for it’s horrendous care of it’s inmates, at one point the state Zoo paid more for its charges than this hospital for its patients. When you think of nightmare asylums - torture, neglect, cruelty - this is it… Welcome friends, Pennhurst awaits!

EP 38 - Familicide

Familicide feels a lot like a horror writer’s bread and butter but not something that would actually happen in real life. Like what person what to take out their entire family and why? It happens for a plethora of reasons and each time it’s a sad reality that probably could have been prevented.
First we’ll start with the giggling granny. Nannie Doss started small and grew her blood lust not just for the thrill of murder but she collected a nice sum of money vis insurance policies she would open on her victims. This story almost sounds like when Sam starts on a tangent and makes a mountain out of a mole hill. Don’t hold your breath because it gets worse and more crazy with each victim.
Christmas Day in the 1920s and Charlie, the patriarch of the Lawson family, send his oldest son, Arthur, to run some errands. When Arthur returns he finds his entire family laid out in the front yard - hands crossed and heads resting on rocks - dead. Not long after a shot rings out from the woods and a sinking feeling over takes him, he is the final Lawson. This isn’t just a gruesome murder but also an infamous haunting covered by recent Netflix documentary!

Here is the trigger warning - upon hearing about this doll or seeing a picture people have experienced headaches, nausea, bloody noses, and as traumatic as a heart attack (the woman survived).
