Let’s discuss Black Eyed Kids (BEK) - don’t answer the door, don’t let them in, just don’t!!! Okay I think that’s enough…
The best way to discuss Jenn’s story is if you are afraid of your own child you should probably say something to someone. If it gets worse you should seek professional help. If they act on what scares you and you did NOTHING to prevent a catastrophe don’t stay in contact with them when they are in jail for fear of what they will do upon their inevitable release….

Who celebrates the Irish better than the Americans?? LOL
With St Patty’s day coming up the gals thought we could do a lighter week and make everything centered around Ireland.
Have you ever heard a blood curdling scream in the middle of the night? It could have been the Banshee coming to warn you of a loved one’s death. Although the story changes from place to place the sentiment is the same, if you see or hear the Banshee cry you or a loved one will be be visited by the death coach in the very near future. Also, don’t pick up combs you see at crossroads … just trust us on that!

EP 23 - Creative Cults

What do you think of when you hear the word cult? What vision comes to mind…
Mostly you feel bad for people who were “fooled” into believing something and were manipulated into something. You shake your head - you pity them, sometimes we laugh and make jokes. However, to the people who are alive and living the cult life, this is their reality and everything else is wrong. A lot of time when people do join cults it’s because they are missing something in their every day life.
Love has Won - a group who believed their leader, Mother God, was a divine, 19 billion year-old being who had birthed all creation. She had been reincarnated over 500 time and used her divine ability to heal the sick via phone and internet meetings. Mother regularly met with an advisory board, called the Galactics, that was made up of both deceased and living celebrities, and they told her what the group had to do to ensure they would all ascend to the 5th dimension…
When Jenn said she was doing the Ant Hill Kids cult - Sam pictured a bunch of kids running around the woods with magnifying glasses torching the ants… O BOY WAS SAM WRONG! The Ant Hill Kids cult was lead by Roch Thériault (WE HATE HIM). They created their group in 1977 in Sainte-Marie, Quebec with the goal to form a commune where people could freely listen to his motivational speeches, live in unity and equality, and be free of sin. IF you were to sin Roch would discipline his followers starting with belt and hammers, and it just gets worse from there…

EP 22 - Trail of Terror

Wow the world is full of adventurous people and their stories make us NOPE right home.
This week we are covering “Terror on the Trail” and what trail is more notable than the Hastings Cutoff? Oh don’t recognize it? That is what caused the Donner party to go over 100 miles out of their way, through the Sierra Mountains to get to California. Because of the delay the party was snowed in at what is now known as Donner lake and Jenn will have to tell you what happens next…
Saving the animals on our planet is crucial and here at Death before Boos we believe conservation and research are imperative to saving the animals and our planet in general. Everyone in the world has their own feeling about what the best way is to help the planet and it's inhabitants and again everyone will do what they deem necessary for their specific causes - unfortunately sometimes our antics are our downfall. Timothy Tredwell, also known as the Grizzly Man, loved the 35000 brown bears of Alaska and spent 13 summer building relationships and fighting for the bears. His mission was to show the world the bears aren’t going to bother humans so they shouldn’t be poached or hunted. He wasn’t a rule follower, he was a bit of a vigilante and it cost him and his then girlfriend their lives.

EP 21 - Asylum Antics

When you hear asylum what do you think of? Usually your mind goes to some horrible scene in a movie - Sweeny Todd, From Hell, Beauty & the Beast, Changeling, etc. What if we told you they weren’t too far off. Asylums, although created with the best intentions, didn’t have the proper execution or funding in most cases causing patients to believe they were living in a nightmare.
Danvers State Hospital, located about 20 miles from Boston, MA, was the epitome of what a mental health institution should have been at the turn of the century. However, after budget cuts and over-crowding the standards dropped drastically causing more harm than good for their patients.
Imagine knowing you are in an institution with over 100 years of “service” , and yet there are dark secrets around every corner. There are rooms, halls, wings that have been abandoned, for years, while you lay your head a few hundred feet away. Being it’s 2024 you may be in a better situation than patients a few decades ago, but you can always ask the ghosts their thoughts on the matter.

We hope you have a spooky date planned for yourself or your partner!!! We were missing Halloween and figured what better way to keep the vibe alive than to integrate it with Valentines day! I who doesn’t love a lil mix of scary and sweet?
So for today’s episode we wanted chose some killer couples! We were surprised with how similar our cases were even though they are from very different times - I mean have you watched “Natural Born Killers”?
Charles Starkweather & Caril Fugate met and fell in love, unfortunately her parents didn’t approve and as the old tale goes chaos ensued. The question that remains is - was Caril and accomplice or a victim?
Meeting a 300 year old Vampire/werewolf at a punk rock show is super exciting at 12! Unfortunately, most parents wouldn’t support a relationship with that kind of an age gap - and that is exactly what happened here…

We are getting wild with this episode as Jenn’s brother, Nick, joins us to talk about all things Wrestling!
When a secondary character loses everything he takes it out on his girlfriend - so Sam’s case is the token WTF moment.
Chris Benoit was at the top of his game and his star was shining bright until medical issues took over and cause him to do something absolutely heinous!

EP 18 - Great Balls of Fire

Okay - we made a whoops in this episode… did you notice? No it wasn’t the name.
Some people don’t know how to say “no” and some people don’t know how to react when they are told “no”. Boundaries are hard to set but shouldn’t be hard to respect!
The Savannah Theater has it all, death, boos, and fire!! The oldest active theater in the US is a sight to behold where thousands of audiences have been thrilled - some to death. After 12 fires and 200 years some actors and patrons haven’t left the building!

EP 17 - Gold Rushing

Ever been stuck mine?? We haven’t been either, but back during the gold rush in the wild wild west that was a real danger people faced!
We’re going to be mentioning some BIG names, the Earp brother’s, Doc Holiday, Zak Bagans (LOL) but the real MVP of today’s episode is Big Nose Kate - immigrant, Doc Holiday’s ride or die, and overall bad ass. So cool there is bar honoring her time in Tombstone.
After we’ll take a trip over to Vulture Mine, also in Arizona, named for the vultures that fly high over head ready to scavenge carcasses for their next meal. What happens when those carcasses live on in a different form? They haunt the town and mines to remind you of the crazy antics of mine life.
